BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 1. From January to April 2023, the revenues of OJSC “Azercosmos” from the provision of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $6.2 million, Trend reports.
According to data from the Center for Economic Reforms and Communications Analysis of Azerbaijan, in April 2023 alone, Azercosmo's revenues from the export of its services to 41 countries amounted to $1.6 million.
During the reporting period, according to the Center, Azercosmos exported satellite and telecommunications services to the United Kingdom ($1.7 million), Luxembourg ($1.4 million), UAE ($595.9 thousand), Germany ($339.8 thousand) and Pakistan ($291.3 thousand).
It should be noted that Azercosmos owns two communication satellites Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2.
In 2022, the revenues of Azercosmos from the provision of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $26.6 million.
