The operator of the mobile communication, Bakcell JV began to provide mobile communication service in Nakchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), Trend reports with reference to the Permanent Representation of NAR in Baku.
It was stated by the Representation that the Company has already begun to apply private numbers. Earlier the Company was planning to hold an official ceremony on this occasion, but the date of the ceremony hasn't been defined yet.
The Company has installed 20 base stations in NAR at the beginning of September.
By present, another mobile operator Azercell JV had been only operator in NAR. Azercell provide services for more than 25.000 subscribers covering 80-85% of the NAR territory.
