Kyocera E5000 Clamshell Serves Up a Curveball

( Mobilemag ) - The Kyocera E5000 clamshell does not have a conventional flip mechanism: it's got a unique S-curve hinge that'll instantly grab your attention. All that shiny chrome will probably cause a glimmer in your eye as well. It's a bit of a shame that the features aren't equally breathtaking.

The mid-range phone -- unveiled at CTIA Wireless -- features stereo Bluetooth, external touch-sensitive music controls, integrated media player, EV-DO connectivity, a slim design, 1.3 megapixel camera, GPS locator, Java support, and a memory expansion slot with support up to 2GB of storage. You get 210 hours of standby and 3.5 hours of talk time.

Look for the shiny, curvaceous Kyocera E5000 to ship this fall.
