‘Development of Freedom of Information’ Coalition Monitors Azerbaijani Transport Ministry’s Website

Trend S.Babayeva / The non-governmental organization 'Development of Freedom of Information' Coalition within the framework of the 'Assistance to realize the freedom of civil information' developed methods for monitoring websites of State bodies, the first of which was the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry.

The non-governmental organization 'Multimedia' Centre reported that information about the history of the ministry. Leadership and structure were placed on the website.

The positive fact is that the biography, mobile numbers, addresses and emails of officials and reception hours are placed on the website. Information about vacancies and rules of admission to vacancies in the ministry are not placed on the website.

Information about the current operation of the state budget, credits, payments, tenders, as well as services rendered to the public, tariffs, samples of licenses and duties for different services were not placed on the website of the ministry.

There were no English pages on the website.

Removing all these problems can increase the number of internet users.
