Iran unveils data of exports and imports via Bushehr port

About 231,000 tons of goods were exported and 25,800 tons were imported through the Bushehr port in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the statistics of the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, a total of 264,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port within the 9th month. Of this, about 234,000 tons were loaded and 30,000 tons were unloaded.

During the reporting month, 1,980 tons of cargo were loaded and 4,050 tons were unloaded for cabotage in this port, the statistics said.

“In addition, 1,200 tons of cargo were loaded and 292 tons were unloaded in the Bushehr port for other purposes,” the statistics said.

According to the statistics, 1,670 tons of essential products, 192,000 tons of construction and mining materials, 89 tons of equipment, vehicles, and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port over the 9th month.

At the same time, 1 ton of leather products, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 1,420 thousand tons of small and various products, 29,500 tons of container products, 39,100 tons of oil products were loaded and unloaded in the port in the ninth month, the statistics said.

In total, 9.13 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020). Of this, 5.5 million tons were loaded and 3.62 million tons were unloaded.
