Iran announces data on cargo transportation via Parvizkhan border terminal

The volume of cargo transported and transited through the Parvizkhan border-customs terminal in the Kermanshah Province (western Iran) exceeded 432,000 tons during the first four months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through July 22, 2021), Director General of the Roads and Transportation Department of Kermanshah Province, Fariborz Karami said, Trend reports citing Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran.

Karami noted that about 111,000 tons of cargo was transported to the country through the border terminal by 4,300 Iranian trucks.

He added that 1,670 tons of transit cargo, leaving the country through the Parvizkhan border terminal were transported by 91 Iranian trucks.

The director general also said that 202,000 tons of transit cargo, entering the country through this border-customs terminal were transported by 3,320 Iranian trucks and 3,840 foreign trucks.

According to Karami, 76,500 tons of cargo entered the border terminal for import to Iran. This cargo was transported by 2,880 Iranian trucks and 199 foreign trucks.
