Kazakhstan to Open Two New Modern Universities

Kazakhstan, Astana, 31 January / Тrend corr K. Konirova / the construction of a new modern university will commence this year in Astana, Kazakhstan, the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in Astana at the forum of the Bolashak program's scholars on 30 January.

"The University will be formed as a branch of leading foreign universities, which are leaders in their fields. We will then not have to send our students abroad to master these subjects. In this university many Bolashak graduates will be able to demonstrate their knowledge," he said.

According to Nazarbayev, a large regional IT University will be established in Almaty to include leading world universities and top experts from abroad.
