New deputy heads of Financial Police appointed in Kazakhstan

Andrey Lukin was appointed as the first deputy chairman of the Agency of the Republic on Combating Economic and Corruption Crimes by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, on Friday.

Ivar Bodanov and Marat Akhmetzhanov were appointed as deputy heads of the Financial Police. The latter was dismissed as the chairman of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor's Office.

Tusupbekov Rashid, who previously held the post of justice minister, was appointed as the chairman of the agency on Jan. 20. Kairatn Kozhamzharov, who previously held the post of the first deputy chairman of the agency, was made the governor of the Akmola region.
