President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to create end-to-end tracking of the movement of containers at the border by reflecting the actual location, travel time and delays, Trend reports with reference to Kazinform news agency.

"I instruct the government to create at the border an end-to-end tracking of container movement by reflecting the actual location, travel time and delays, in particular, the issue is Khorgos gateway," the president said at a meeting of the Foreign Investors’ Council.

“The information system must function at all centers of free trade which are being created with Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other neighboring countries,” the president said.

“That is, transport communications are currently a priority in the policy of the government,” the president said. “I will personally observe the implementation of this program.”

The heads of big multinational companies, heads of state agencies and representatives of international organizations attended the event.

Foreign Investors’ Council was created on the initiative of First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Thus, Foreign Investors’ Council is an effective platform that unites major foreign investors in Kazakhstan and gives an opportunity to discuss the most important issues related to the development of the national economy and improvement of the investment climate.

The Council consists of the heads of 37 big multinational companies and international organizations, as well as heads of key ministries.
