Turkmenistan's Turkmenbashi Oil Refineries Complex has commissioned new technological installations, said the Turkmenistan State News Agency Oct 10.
The equipment is meant to produce high-octane motor gasoline that meats international standards.
The components needed for the high-octane motor gasoline production will be obtained through vacuum distillation of the fuel oil and refining of liquefied gas.
After the commissioning of these installations, it will be possible to increase the output of high value added oil products.
In total, the production complex is designed to obtain two million tons of fuel oil, and process 250,000 tons of liquefied gas and 230,000 tons of low-octane light gasoline a year.
