BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $69 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.

Entrepreneurs from UAE, Turkey, UK, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan purchased gasoline, liquefied gas, and diesel fuel produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) and representatives of business communities from Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas and polyethylene.

Businessmen from Turkey and Kyrgyzstan purchased smooth-dyed and jacquard terry products, as well as cotton yarn on the stock exchange.

Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan for the local market purchased cotton yarn worth almost $100,000, high-density polyethylene and polypropylene, as well as handmade carpets for a total amount of about 160 million Turkmen manats ($45.7 million).

A total of 167 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
