BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 6. The plan for the production of products and services in the construction and industrial sector of Turkmenistan was exceeded by 20.4 percent in January 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Charymyrat Purchekov at a government meeting held on February 3.
According to him, during the reporting period, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan exceeded the work plan by 11.3 percent, and the Ashgabat city municipality exceeded the work and services provided by 16.4 percent compared to January last year.
Furthermore, he noted that the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan exceeded the plan for the production and implementation of works by 18.2 percent during the reporting period, and the State Agency for Roads Construction Management fulfilled by 101 percent.
Due to the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy.
