TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, February 15. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will make an official visit Kuwait at the invitation of the country's Emir Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah from February 17 to 18, Trend reports.
The visit program schedules high-level bilateral talks in Kuwait City, as well as meetings with the leadership and members of the government, heads of leading Kuwaiti companies, and banking and financial structures.
The agenda of the upcoming summit is expected to include issues related to the further development and deepening of Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations of friendship and multifaceted partnership, expansion of cooperation in such priority areas as trade, innovation, investment and finance, green energy, industrial cooperation, agriculture, transport and logistics, infrastructure, urban development, healthcare, and others.
The focus will also be on expanding cultural, humanitarian, and tourism exchanges.
In addition, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kuwait will discuss current aspects of international politics and regional cooperation.
As a result of the talks, a package of joint documents and agreements is expected to be adopted.
