TEHRAN, Iran, Oct.19
Iranian ships are fully transporting cargo to Chinese ports while Chinese vessels are also shipping cargo to Iranian ports, said the secretary of Shipping Association of Iran, Trend reports citing YJC.
Although some ports in China are not allowing Iranian ships to dock due to technical reasons, Masoud Polmah noted.
The issue of stalling some Iranian ships in Chinese ports has created considerable expenses for ship owners. For instance, ships are not allowed to harbor at China's port number 1 instead they are guided to port number 2 for loading and unloading cargo.
China has banned Iranian ships from entering its important ports since last year, and while there are limitations for many terminals Iran has taken measures to ship cargo to other Chinese ports that could be connected to important ports.
