Tehran approves $500M worth industrial projects

Iranian government has approved $500 million worth 12 industrial projects to be launched in the country with the contribution of foreign investors, an Iranian minister said.

Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh has said that 12 projects were approved following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Mizan Online News Agency reported.

Elaborating on the advantages of the implementation of the JCPOA, the minister said that six presidents, 791 government officials and 2,045 private companies from various countries have visited Iran since Jan. 16.

Meanwhile Iranian government has signed 68 memorandums of understanding, the minister said.

He added that 119 documents were also signed between Iranian and foreign economic institutions.
