Talks between Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton during a working launch took 3.30 hours in New York.

The 7th round of nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 after two months started on Sept. 17 by Zarif and Ashton working launch, Iranian official IRNA news agency reported.

The two sides considered the latest situation of nuclear negotiation and way to continue the talks.

It is due that bilateral talks between Iran and members of the P 5+1 started on Wednesday evening (New York time) and the first bilateral talks will take place between Iran and the USA.

Iran and Russia will hold a bilateral meeting on Thursday morning (New York time).

Talks between Iran and the P5+1 will officially start on Friday morning, local time, in presence of Zarif and Ashton in the venue of the UN headquarter in New York.

Foreign Minister Zarif departed Tehran on Tuesday morning for New York to hold the 7th round of nuclear comprehensive talks between Iran and Group 5+1 and also to attend the 69th annual meeting of the UN General Assembly.
