Tehran, Iran, July 7

By Mehdi Sepahvand - Trend:

The to-be nuclear deal will contribute to sustainable security in the Middle East region, Iran 's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said.

Speaking to reporters, he said a comprehensive agreement with Iran would benefit all the wise political figures across the region, ISNA news agency reported July 7.

Iran is in talks with the group P5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia , China , and Germany) over its nuclear program. However, the talks are widely seen as a chance to change the global approach to Iran and Tehran 's stance in regional and global equations.

There are even speculations that the Islamic Republic may prove to be a good fellow to help establish peace in the troubled Middle East after the US failed to draw genuine cooperation from its traditional Arab allies.

A nuclear deal can prepare ground for more Tehran-Washington cooperation in the future, Iranian lawmaker Mohammad Hassan Asafari had told Trend recently.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also named the deal a test that would give the US the chance to prove trustworthy for further cooperation.
