Relations between NATO and Georgia are moving ahead with Norway assisting Georgia in this issue, Norway's foreign minister Jonas Gahr Støre said after a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze in Oslo.
"Norway supports Georgia's aspiration for integration into Europe and NATO and takes certain measures in this direction," Store said.
He said that the bilateral relations, as well as Georgia's security were discussed during his meeting with Vashadze. "We have established good relations both politically and economically," he said.
Vashadze said that the issues of economic cooperation, especially in the energy sector were discussed during the meeting. Norwegian business is also ready to invest multi-million dollar investment. "Norway is our reliable partner in the international arena," he added.
