Georgia’s cars re-export to Kazakhstan from January through November 2021 totaled $19.7 million, which is an increase of 462.8 percent, compared to $3.5 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The amount of re-exported cars from Georgia to Kazakhstan over the reporting period of 2021 also increased by 534.7 percent – from 285 cars over the same period of 2020 to 1,809 cars.
Thus, Kazakhstan ranks 3 among the main importers of cars from Georgia over the first 11 months of 2021, following after Azerbaijan ($228.2 million) and Ukraine ($83 million).
Georgia’s total re-export of cars from January through November 2021 amounted to $417.6 million, which is a decrease of 14.4 percent, compared to $364.8 million over the same period of 2020.
