Russia arrests person suspected of involvement in terrorist act preparation in Moscow
Moscow's Lefortovo Court made a decision to detain the resident of the city of Grozny, Aslan Baisultanov, who is suspected of being involved in preparation of a terrorist act in Moscow, RIA Novosti reported Oct. 13.
Thus, the court has detained the first of the three suspects in this high-profile case.
Later today, the court will settle the issue regarding the measure of restraint for other persons involved in the case.
An investigator of the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) said that on Oct. 3 the suspect received instructions in Grozny from Shamil Chengizov to carry out an explosion in Moscow.
He was also given a detonator and explosives.
