BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. Türkiye's ports received 14.8 million tons of grain products from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
The data of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye shows that volume of grain products received by vessels under the flag of Türkiye amounted to 768,445 tons during this period.
"The transportation of grain products to Turkish ports by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 14 million tons," the ministry said.
In addition, no grain products were transported in transit from Turkish ports from January through September 2023.
Türkiye's ports received 15.6 million tons of agricultural products from January through September 2023.
The volume of agricultural products transported by vessels under the flag of Türkiye amounted to 812,787 tons during this period.
"The volume of agricultural products transported by ships under the flags of other countries to the ports of Türkiye amounted to 14.8 million tons," the ministry said.
Moreover, no agricultural products from Turkish ports were transported in transit from January through September 2023.
In addition, Turkish ports received 32 million tons of cargo in September 2023.
In general, Turkish ports received 32 million tons of cargo (ships under the Turkish flag: 2.5 million tons; ships under the flags of other countries: 29.6 million tons) in September 2023.
Also, 5.1 million tons of transit cargo were transported from the ports of Türkiye in September 2023.
According to the ministry, Turkish ports received 292.6 million tons of cargo (ships under the Turkish flag: 21.7 million tons; ships under the flags of other countries: 270.9 million tons) from January through September 2023. Moreover, 51.7 million tons of transit cargo were transported from Turkish ports from January through September 2023.
