( Cihan ) - Turkish Council of Ministers was to convene for its regular meeting on Monday but the meeting has been postponed for Tuesday due to the expectations regarding the opposition's application to the Constitutional Court and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's obligations.

The government is waiting for the final decision of the court in relation to the main oppositions request for the annulment of the first round of the presidential elections to determine its own demeanor regarding the decision.

The government is determined to go on with the elections and not to withdraw Abdullah Gul from the race.

There are some speculations that the government might decide to conduct early elections in accordance with the decision of the court.
