Famous Italian musician and singer-songwriter Eros Ramazzotti will for the first time perform in Baku as part of his 'Perfetto' concert program.
The concert will be held at the Baku Crystal Hall on Apr. 27.
Ramazzotti will sing his famous songs during the show.
In an exclusive interview with Trend on the eve of his concert, the singer talked about the upcoming event and noted that he is very glad to perform in Azerbaijan's capital.
Ramazzotti's 'Perfetto' concert in Baku has been organized as part of his world tour.
"This is a very challenging tour, which began six months ago and will end in six months, visiting distant cities between each other, as Baku and Toronto, Buenos Aires and Munich... I'm very pleased to come to Azerbaijan given that it is still exciting for me performing in front of a new audience even after 30 years of career," said Ramazzotti.
His concerts always stand out for wonderful music and unique shows.
"The show that I'm carrying out around the world is a musical and visual exhibition," he said. "There are 10 amazing musicians playing with me on the stage the most important evergreens of my long career and a few new songs included on my last album 'Perfetto'."
"Sometimes, we also like to extemporize and depending on the interaction with the audience, there could come unexpected and intense moments," said Ramazzotti.
Talking about the visual side, he said, there are lights, lasers and a big video screen that projects videos expressly recorded for this show by young and talented graphic artists and video makers.
Ramazzotti became a favourite singer of millions with his vocal skills and manner of singing, because with his compositions the singer, who is named the Musical Ambassador of Peace, is trying to bring love to people and call them to peace.
"It is an honor to be called the Musical Ambassador of Peace and I hope to deserve it. I only give my best singing peace and love," said the singer. "I am open to each culture, distant or close to me, given that I'm following an ideal where a peaceful sharing of each different culture and customs is possible. Maybe one day this can happen."
The singer says he is going to visit the places of interest in Baku, to see the harmony of eastern and western architecture, to become closely familiar with the Azerbaijani people and their hospitality.
By the way, Baku and Naples are twin cities. Moreover, a small part of Italy - Little Venice - has been created in the Baku Boulevard on the shore of the Caspian Sea.
"I'm very curious to discover Baku," said Ramazzotti.
