Energy supply to several regions of Georgia as well as to the capital will be limited in connection with the repair work on the Imereti power line from 8:00 to 10:00 on Saturday, Georgia's Deputy Minister of Energy Ilia Eloshvili announced at a press conference.
According to Eloshvili, the scheduled work on high-voltage power lines has started in preparation for the winter season.
"This has caused the necessity to disable the Imereti power line, Eloshvili said.
The work is conducted by the technical team of GruzRosenergo JSC.
Limitations in the supply of electricity will affect certain areas of Mtskheta, Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Imereti, Gurjaani and Telavi as well as parts of Tbilisi, in particular Gldani, Mukhiani, Varketili and TEVZ.
