Azerbaijan will start exporting canned fish to Russia, Anar Salimov, Executive Director of Kur Balig LLC, told Trend.
The executive director noted that the enterprise, using modern technologies, will process fish and produce canned fish.
"In September 2019, upon completion of the construction of the boiler house, the canning conveyors will start operating. Products will be exported to Russia, Georgia and some European countries. Relevant negotiations are underway," he said.
The company, located in the Neftchala industrial quarter, will produce seven million cans of canned food and 500 tons of chilled fresh fish annually.
"Basically, the company will process sea fish: Caspian sprat, carp and grass carp. The number of seasonal workers at the production site will be 20 people. After the enterprise starts operating at full capacity, 40 people will be provided with work," Salimov added.
