BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Changes to the roadmap for implementing the 'Market Competition' indicator of the World Bank (WB) project will be completed this autumn, Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy Jafar Babayev said, Trend reports.
He made the remark during today's meeting of the working group on commodity market efficiency and competition of the Business Environment and International Ratings Commission, held in Baku.
"Changes to the 2024 roadmap related to the implementation of improvements and communications in the area concerning the 'Market Competition' indicator of the World Bank Group's 'Business Ready' project will be ready by the end of August to early September," Babayev explained.
To note, Azerbaijan will be included in the WB's 'Business ready' report starting next year. A preliminary assessment was carried out to improve the business environment in accordance with the provisions of the above report. In this regard, roadmaps have been developed.
