Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. А. Gasimova / The replacement of the government in the Russian Federation and the new post of Prime Minister instead of the former Mikhail Fradkov will not reflect the situation in the country.
Viktor Zubkov, in his new position as Prime Minister, will not change the policy held by the Russian Federation, Vladimir Pribilovski, the political scientist of the Russian Informative-Research Centre of Panarama, stated.
The Russian President, Vladimir Putin accepted Fradkov's retirement on 12 September. Putin put forward Victor Zubkov, the head of the Russian Financial Monitoring, for the post of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Should the Russian President, Vladimir Putin resign from the post of President then some changes may occur in the Russian Federation, expert said.
The parliamentary elections will be held in Russia in December, and the presidential elections in 2008. In compliance with the Russian Federation Constitution, the current President Vladimir Putin has to leave the presidential post.
The last changes occurred in Russia in 2004 when Vladimir Putin retired Mikhail Kasyanov, the former Prime Minister in 24 February 2004.
