Driver Recognized as Guilty of Military Car Casualty on Baku-Ganja Highway

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend V.Mammadov / The driver-soldier who crashed the military car on Ganja-Baku highway was accused of breaking the rules of road movement and cerating casualty situation, the investigator of Ganja Military Prosecutor's Office, Ismayl Abbasov, reported to Trend Regional Correspondent on 28 September.

He said that it became clear as a result of the examination held with regards to the incident that the driver Eldaniz Habibov had technical possibilities to prevent the casualty. The military car driven by Habibov overturned on 19 July in 10km of Baku-Ganja highway. As a result, nearly 25 military people were injured. A criminal case has been filed over the fact in compliance with article 351 (breaking driving rules) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

Abbasov said that the materials of the investigation will be sent to the Military Court in the soon.

Ganja is located on 365km west of Baku.
