BSEC Foreign Ministers’ Council Meets in Turkey

Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Ramazanova / Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev departed for Ankara, Turkey, to participate in the 17th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), the Spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim reported.

The Ankara meeting will be opened by Turkish President Abdullah Gul. After his opening speech the meeting will be continued under the chairmanship of Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan.

Along with the representatives of the Foreign Ministries of Turkey, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Serbia, Georgia, Albania and Moldova, 14 observers will participate in the meeting. Ankara Declaration will be signed and Turkey will pass BSEC chairmanship to Ukraine.
