Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend / "The UN General Assembly disseminated a report on the Armed occupation of the Azerbaijani territory: legal estimation", developed by the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry on 25 December, the Ministry said.
The report was submitted by Agshin Mehdiyev, the permanent representative of Azerbaijan at the UN. The document reflects the proper background information about the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, the armed occupation of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the seven districts attached to it by Armenia, and give the estimation to the state about the occupied territory of Azerbaijan.
"Obviously, occupying the Azerbaijani territory in an armed way and carrying out the ethnic cleansing, Armenia targets to achieve the sovereignty in these areas", the report said.
