Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 March / Trend corr S. Ilhamgizi / The composition of several District Election Committees (DEC) of the Central Election Committee (CEC) of Azerbaijan has been changed. The decision on that was made at the CEC meeting on 12 March.
During the discussions, several members of DEC were voluntarily dismissed from the office and new members were appointed to the positions.
The CEC Chair Mazahir Panahov informed the participants at the meeting that the specification for electoral rolls by the DEC is underway.
The electoral rolls must be submitted to the CEC by 5th of April. According to Panahov, the hot line 118, which was opened for specification of the electoral rolls, has received calls from the citizens who complaint mainly about their names missing in the rolls.
