Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev was re-elected President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) at the fifth final meeting of the NOC on Dec. 26, AzerTag State News Agency reported.
Azad Rahimov and Chingiz Huseynzade, Vice-Presidents of the NOC, made reports for 2004-2008 at the meeting. A four-year activity of the organization was assessed as satisfactory. A total of 17 people were elected members of the Executive Committee and five people - members of the Revision Commission of the NOC.
Azad Rahimov, Chingiz Huseynzade and Khazar Isayev were elected Vice-Presidents and Agajan Abiyev - Secretary General of the NOC during a special meeting of the NOC Executive Committee.
