Representatives of the Georgian delegation did not confirm the concessions, made by the United States in relations with Russia. The U.S. received a signal that it should cooperate with Russia on specific issues, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexander Nalbandov, told journalists.
These issues include cooperation in nuclear and other areas, Nalbandov said.
"The U.S. position is clear in this way, but we do not understand what the other concessions may be made," he said.
The fact that the U.S. President did not mention Georgia in his speech caused some skepticism in Georgia. However, Georgian politicians and experts state that Obama has made it clear to Russia that they will not stand the great nation's enslavement of small nations.
