Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today familiarized himself with the conditions created in the Astara customs office, Azerbaijani Presidential official website reported.
Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev reported to the Head of State.
President Ilham Aliyev was warmly welcomed by customs officials.
The Head of State was informed that the customs office was rebuilt and provided with modern equipments.
President Ilham Aliyev was told all necessary conditions had been created here.
The Head of State also got acquainted with the conditions created in the import customs control point.
The President viewed photo stands reflecting previous and current views of the Astara customs office.
President Aliyev was informed that land-improvement works had been done around the administrative building of the Customs office with 205 employees.
The President familiarized himself with the activity of the Customs Education Center and the Az Duty Free Shops trade center.
The Head of State praised the work done here and gave certain recommendations and instructions.
