The automobile road to the Kumtor mine in Kyrgyzstan's Issik-Kul oblast is still blocked by protesters, KyrTAG reported on Friday.
As diesel fuel can not be supplied to the unit, the issue of getting people down from the mine is still of current importance.
The Issik-Kul people started protests on May 27.
They demand the denunciation of the agreement on Kumtor.
On May 30 the protesters managed to turn off the electricity supply of the mine.
