The Flower Festival was held in Baku on May 10 on the occasion of the 92nd birthday anniversary of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event was organized in the park in front of the Heydar Aliyev Palace and the Central City Park behind the palace.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva and their family members attended the Flower Festival.
The whole territory of the park was decorated with interesting compositions - flower carpets with beautiful patterns, pictures from flowers, plants and leaves, figures of birds and fairy tale characters made up of the flowers of various colors.
All of these compositions stand out with artistic expression, demonstrate the endless possibilities of beauty and awaken a good mood in everyone.
The pedestal of monument to the creator of the independent Azerbaijani state, Heydar Aliyev, whose 92nd birthday anniversary is celebrated today, was also decorated with flowers.
