Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom (UK) signed a military cooperation plan, said the press service of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
The military cooperation plan between the two countries’ defense ministries for 2017/2018 financial year was signed as a result of staff talks held at the Office for International Military Cooperation, said the press service.
During the negotiations, the current state and prospective areas of cooperation in the defense sphere between the two countries, issues of cooperation in the areas of training, education and peacekeeping operations were considered. Meanwhile, an exchange of views on regional security was held.
