The Second Kabul Process Conference has kicked off in Afghanistan’s capital.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Baku told Trend that the conference is being attended by representatives of 25 countries.

Azerbaijan is represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov in the conference.

Kabul Process meeting is a gathering of 23 nations, the EU, UN and NATO, which is intended to discuss security and political issues in the country.

This process is being managed with the initiative and leadership of the Afghan government.

Its first meeting was held eight month ago with the participation of the representatives of 23 countries and several international organizations.
