BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. Azerbaijan's fraternity with Tatarstan is part of the allied cooperation with Russia, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu said, Trend reports.
He made the remark during the opening ceremony of the event dedicated to the Tatar national Sabantuy festival, held in Baku and timed to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
"Our esteemed Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov highlighted all the work that has been carried out recently. I just want to emphasize that the visit of dear Rais to Azerbaijan is a very pleasant and important event for us," he said.
“But today this festival takes on special significance, because the Rais of Russia’s Tatarstan is here today, with a very large respectful delegation that came specifically for this summer festival," he said.
