“The Council of Europe (CE) delegation will arrive in Azerbaijan in October due to the parliamentary elections scheduled for 6 November,” Rovzat Gasimov, the head of the International Relations Division of the Central Election Committee (CEC), told Trend.
He noted that every day they held meetings with representatives of different international organizations and discussed visits of foreign representatives to Azerbaijan.
According to Gasmiov, the delegation will include high-ranking representatives of this international structure. He did not say whether the CE Secretary General, Terri Devise came to the country. Gasimov noted that media would be informed about the visit of the CE delegation in early October.
