Implementation of the second stage of the program on the juvenile justice establishment will start since January, the chairman of the Alliance of the Non-governmental organizations engaged in children’s rights protection Nadir Seyidov told Trend.
He noted, there are no structures in Azerbaijan dealing with the problems of the juveniles. The program’s goal is setting up such structures. Juvenile judges from Russia, Germany and Switzerland have been invited to Azerbaijan since September, conducting trainings for establishing the training base in the juvenile sphere. It was the first stage of the program.
The second stage will start since January, during which monitoring at police stations, investigation cells, children’s distribution centers and etc will be conducted. В"The report will be prepared by NGOs which will be later sent to the relevant state bodies, the head of the state and the UNO Committee on children’s rights”, Seyidov noted.
