PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights is discussing May 17-19 the issues linked to execution of Geneva Convention for national minorities protection in Budapest, Trend reports quoting MP Ganira Pashayeva, member of Azeri delegation to PACE.
She said at the session participants mainly discussed protection of national minorities rights in the countries within CE.
В"Discussions were held in a tense atmosphere. The main idea was to protect and respect national minorities rights in all the countries regardless of ethnicity or nation. However, we shall tell separatists, extremists out of lawful representatives of national minorities. Members of Azeri delegation stated official Baku complying to this document and caring ethnic minorities in the countryВ", - Pashayeva said.
