The official visit of the Lithuanian president Valdas Adamusk to Azerbaijan was not annulled and will be paid in the defined time, Lina Gorbachoven, the head of the press service of Lithuanian president, informed Trend. According to Gorbachoven, the visit was scheduled for 8-9 June and will be paid on the defined date.

It is necessary to remember that the visit of Lithuanian president to Baku had to be paid on 18-19 April, but it was annulled in connection with the political situation in Lithuania. At the moment, the governmental crisis in Lithuania is continuing. The day before: at the next meeting of the government, the prime minister Algirdas Brazauskas submitted a request about resignation.

After the Lithuanian president Valdas Adamusk publicly announced Victor Uspaski, representative of the Labour Party and popular Lithuanian politician, the crisis started. Besides, the president expressed doubt about the expediency of Brazauskass stay in the prime minister post. After that, the health, culture, justice, economic and interior ministers also submitted request about resignation.
