CIS member-states to expand co-op in fighting illegal migration

The CIS member-states will expand cooperation the sphere of fighting with illegal migration, the CIS Executive Secretary told Trend. A draft agreement on cooperation in fighting with illegal migration an intensification of efforts directed at the achievement of agreements on admission and delivery of migrations will be discussed in a meeting of an export group to be held in Minsk on 28-29 June.

Participants in the gathering will focus on the ways of intensification of joint measures in fighting the illegal migration and concentration of efforts of the member-countries on rapid regulation and registration of bilateral agreements on admission and delivery of illegal migrants, which would meet our common interests and become an important stage on the way of establishment of a thematic legal area.

The agenda of the meeting will include coordination of the Program on the implementation of a concept on accorded policy of CIS member-states, initiated by the Council of Commander-in-chef of frontier troops.

Experts of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry will also participate in the gathering.
