There is no parallel between the incidents in Samara and Kondopog, the Chief of Head Interior Department (HID) of Samara region of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Reymer told Trend, commenting on the robbery attack committed on September 23 in vegetable base in Samara.
He noted that at present, it has been exactly defined that the fight causing assassination happened due to the redistribution of influence spheres of criminal groups. There is no national implication here, the Chief stressed. According to him, it has been defined that the efforts to redistribute the influence spheres were also made earlier, but none of the traders and owners of the trade facilities notified the law-enforcement bodies. According to Reymer, Azerbaijani diaspora in Samara has a very strong influence, and they consider themselves fully confidential in order not to share with the local rogues.
Touching on the measures for preventing inter-ethical situations, Reymer said that the Head of HID hold regular meetings with the diaspora organizations not to allow Karelian incidents and keep the situation under control.
