A meeting of a working group for the legal status of the Caspian Sea is expected to be held in Teheran till the end of 2006, Khalaf Khalafov, Deputy Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister told today, Trend reports.
Mr. Khalafov pointed out that the negotiations on the legal status of the Caspian will continue. At present, Azerbaijan is holding bilateral negotiations with Iran. During the visit of Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mekhti Safari to Azerbaijan, this issue was discussed as well. At the same time, during my visit to Iran, I held a separate meeting with him.
