The U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the commencement of various community projects implemented by USAID's Community Development Activity Program in the Zakatala and Gakh districts beginning on 17 October, 2006.
These projects were made possible by the generous support of the American community through the USAID's Community Development Activity Program, implemented by CHF International. In accordance with the schedule, the water system rehabilitation will be held in Lakit Village of Gakh District on 17 October. A ceremony on the commencement of the electrical system upgrade project will take place in Gakhbash Village of Gakh District on the same day.
The ceremony on the commencement of the school roof repair and water system upgrade projects will be held in Yolayrij, Yengiyan and Yukhary Chardakhlar villages of Zakatala District on 19 October 2006.
