Azercell Telecom investments to Azerbaijan telecommunication sphere has reached $523 mln., said Khalim Atesh, Director General of the Company, Trend reports.
According to him, this figure reflects the investments that have been put for the whole activity of Azercell since 1996. The volume of taxes paid by the Company in this period reached $303 mln.
In 2006, the volume of the investments put by our company has reached $130 mln. The taxes paid by Azercell in this period reached $70 mln., said the Head of the Company.
Touching upon the Company plans for the next year, Mr. Atesh said that the investments in 2007 are to be no less than $130 mln.
