The Ukrainian Prime Minister, Victor Yanukovich, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on December 26, 2006.
Deniz Ivanesko, the Spokesman for the Prime Minister, exclusively informed Trend that the agenda of the one-day visit is being coordinated.
Earlier, Azerbaijan Ambassador to Ukraine, Talat Aliyev, informed Trend that Ukraine is interested in strengthening the cooperation with Azerbaijan, in particular, trade, economic and energy sectors and the same stance was sounded by the Ukrainian Premier.
During the recent meeting with the Azerbaijan Ambassador in Kiev, Mr. Yanukovich noted the increase of the amount of bilateral goods turnover and regarded the cooperation in fuel and energy complex, especially, the implementation of joint projects on the transportation of Caspian energy resources to the European markets as the most perspective direction of the economic interaction.
