The issue on appointing members of the National Bank Board of Azerbaijan will be held in the Milli Majlis on December 26.
Rufat Aslanli, the Director General of the National Bank, informed journalists today that no candidate has been nominated to take the post of the Bank Board Members.
No changes are expected to be made to the work of the Board of the Central Bank. The candidates are the acting members of the Board: Alim Guliyev, Vadim Khubanov, Aftandil Babayev, and me. President Ilham Aliyev sent a proposal to the Milli Majlis on appointing the existing members to these posts for the next term, said Mr. Aslanli.
